● Collection and provision of information on regulations, laws and cases related to domestic and overseas franchising
● Submission of the Franchising Industry’s petition for enacting / revising laws and regulations
● Research on and formulation of policies to draft franchise agreements classified by the business type and the industry sector
● Prevalence and compliance of the Code of Ethics
● Holding of seminars regarding legal matters

Franchise consultation and complaint counseling
● Consultation regarding the franchise system; Acceptance of complaints and provision of counseling
● Administration of the Franchise Counseling Office

Organizing the Industry
● Expansion of member / registrant organization
● Screening of membership qualification
● Dissemination / promotion of Registration System

Public relations
● Publicizing of JFA’s activities
● Publication of the official journal “Franchise Age”
● Participation to and cooperation with franchise shows
● Promotion of public awareness of franchise business

Provision of statistics about franchising
● Collection, research and analysis of domestic and overseas information on franchising
● Provision and maintenance of statistics about franchise chains

Education and training activities
● Preparation and provision of monthly seminars
● Publication of various works on franchise business
● Administration of the School of Supervisors
● Promotion of the qualification system for Certified Supervisor
● Provision of home-study courses
● Holding of the Elementary Course for Franchise Business

Effort to address environmental problems
● Contribution to prevention of global warming
● Contribution to advancement towards a recycling-oriented economic system

● Cooperation and coordination with national franchise associations in the world and the World Franchise Council.
